The overall scope of this R and D activity is to carry out organic synthesis of small molecules and/or polymers to later be used in additive manufacturing. Organic molecules and polymers will be prepared using traditional organic chemistry techniques and purified using liquid-liquid or acid-based separation, column chromatography, recrystallization, and/or filtering and drying.
