CX-034593: Abandonment/Installation of One Monitoring Well and Five Soil Borings at Chemicals, Metals, and Pesticides (CMP) Pits Operable Unit (OU)

At the Chemicals, Metals, and Pesticides (CMP) Pits Operable Unit (OU), one existing monitoring well (CMP 50B) has been determined to be compromised and will be abandoned. A new replacement well (CMP-050-BR) will be drilled as the well is required for CMP Pits OU groundwater sampling. Additionally, five soil borings are to be drilled near the CMP Pits trench area to allow for volatile organic compound headspace sampling.
