The primary scope of this project involves upgrading obsolete electromechanical equipment (circuit breakers, relays, and regulator controls) within three (3) electric distribution substations, and replacing the equipment with G&W Viper-S Solid Dielectric Automatic Reclosers (vacuum interrupters), SEL651R Recloser Controls and solid dielectric Schweitzer SEL-2431 Regulators Controllers. Simultaneously, this project will implement distribution feeder automation onto three (3) overhead electric distribution circuits at 9 pole locations.
