The work will look at the effects of exposure to short-chain PFAS and polymeric PFAS (fluoropolymers) on nematodes using indirect and direct exposure methods. In one set of experiments, nanoparticles will be used to demonstrate the transport of PFAS into nematodes directly and indirectly through a bacterial food source.
