Houlton proposes to construct and operate the U.S. portion of the Houlton/New Brunswick Power Interconnection (the project). The project consists of the installation of a 1.5 mile long 34.5 kilovolt transmission line from the United States/Canadian border to the existing substation on Military Street in Houlton.
