To prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information and other protected assets at the DOE/NNSA sites and because DOE/NNSA sites require the appropriate clearance or access level and entry is subject to search at the discretion of the officers staffing the entry gates, DOE/NNSA has a need to install, operate and maintain intrusion detraction and access control equipment at the LLNL Livermore Site.
