The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Fraunhofer USA Inc., Center for Sustainable Energy Systems to research, develop and design ways to reduce the installed cost of residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems by developing a residential "Plug and Play" solar PV system.
