The U.S. DOE is proposing to provide federal funding to Planet PV, Inc. to conduct research and development activities for the fabrication and testing of a characterization tool that enables the measurement in three-dimensions of the minority carrier lifetime of semiconducting films. DOE funding would be used to assemble equipment, perform feasibility studies by using model semiconductor systems, and write software.
