This National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) determination is for the continuation of a previous NEPA determination (GFO-08-186) to add a location for Task 6: Molten Salt Component Testing. The University of Wisconsin at Madison will assist in the testing component. Madison Scientific will be providing ball joints and valves for the testing. The University of Wisconsin is currently performing nuclear research for the United States Department of the Navy and currently has the necessary facilities and equipment in place for testing. Abengoa Solar Incorporated proposes to use federal funding for testing services offered by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. These tests will allow Abengoa Solar Incorporated to analyze the design pressure under zero flow conditions on joints, valves, and instrumentation.
