This project consists of installing two E-85 (ethanol) fueling systems (85% ethanol and 15% petroleum based fuel) for fueling fleet vehicles. One system will be located at the Advanced Mixed Waste Treatment Project and the other at the Idaho Nuclear Technology Center. The two above ground, E-85 compatible, double wall carbon steel, skid-mounted tanks have a capacity of 12,000 gallons each. The tanks will be constructed offsite to UL (Underwriters Laboratories) standard 142 and 2080 and only require an onsite aggregate base for leveling, 22 post holes each for bollards (6 inches by 24 inches), and a utility trench each for the electrical service line and data line to an onsite power pole (maximum of 100 feet long by 2 feet wide by 2 feet deep). The tanks will be delivered by semi tractor trailer and placed on the vendor developed aggregate pad in the existing aggregate covered parking lots of the facilities. The bollard holes will be drilled and the utility trench will be dug in the existing parking lot. Once the tanks have been integrity tested, they will be put into service providing fuel for the fleet vehicles.
