FPDS National Interest Action Value for Hurricane Ida 2021
Pursuant to the agreement between the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) a new NIA value for Hurricane Ida 2021 has been implemented by GSA to track acquisition costs related to this effort.
NIA value Hurricane Ida 2021 (code H21I) is now valid from August 31, 2021, to October 31, 2021. The NIA Code will be used to promote full, clear, and consistent transparency in the tracking of acquisition cost related to procurement actions, agencies are directed to assign this NIA code to all procurement actions reported into FPDS that are issued in response to this effort. This includes new awards for supplies and services as well as modifications that are issued to address Hurricane Ida 2021. The code should also be used in connection with any procurement authority, including but not limited to special emergency procurement authorities identified under FAR Subpart 18.2.

- NIA Value Name: Hurricane Ida 2021
- Web Portal/Graphical User Interface (GUI) service users may select the value 'Hurricane Ida 2021' in the National Interest Action drop-down field.
- Contract Writing Systems (CWS) shall use the code of 'H21I' when creating/updating documents associated with Hurricane Ida 2021 response through Business Services.
- NIA Start Date: 08/31/2021
- NIA End Date: 10/31/2021
