The Loan Programs Office (LPO) is pleased to co-host with the Cleantech Leaders Demonstrate Deploy Decarbonize 2023 (Deploy23), the first annual gathering across the clean energy supply chain to discuss opportunities and challenges to private and public sector capital allocation needed to deploy at scale the technologies critical to reach a net-zero economy by 2050.

Building on the momentum of the 2022 Global Clean Energy Action Forum's Business Forum, Deploy23 will gather 300+ private and public sector thought leaders, decision makers, business leaders, and others across the clean energy supply chain for a two-day in-person event at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC, on September 26 to September 27, 2023.

In 2022, LPO and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) facilitated a multi-track Clean Energy Business Forum as part of the Global Clean Energy Action Forum (GCEAF) – engaging leaders from across the clean energy ecosystem in an active discussion about investment opportunities in the emerging $23 trillion market in clean energy solutions. The event at GCEAF helped create the foundation for the launch of DOE’s Pathways to Commercial Liftoff reports, which describe the barriers and opportunities for capital allocators across these key sectors.

Deploy23 continues this dialogue on the opportunities and challenges in capital allocation and reaching scale. Programming will center around a series of facilitated workshops designed to surface barriers and solutions to deployment of clean technology across key sectors. The main areas of focus for workshops this year will be on industrial decarbonization and grid modernization, with additional cross-cutting themes like the clean energy workforce and community benefits to be explored. Plenaries will set the stage for meaningful discussion through keynotes and fireside chats with senior Biden-Harris Administration officials, C-suite executives of clean energy and infrastructure companies, elected officials, and thought leaders from across the clean energy community on the technologies poised for commercial liftoff and cross-cutting solution areas.

While in-person participation is by invitation only, select content will be streamed live and available on DOE channels. Please join us for the first of many gatherings to demonstrate new technology, deploy it at scale, and decarbonize our society.
