DOE ordered Westland Sales to pay a $5,000 civil penalty after finding Westland Sales had failed to certify that certain models of residential clothes washers and clothes dryers comply with the applicable energy conservation standards. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Westland Sales.
