Historical meteorological data and information relating to the Santa Susana Field Laboratory have been of interest to the neighboring community for a number of years. Although it was believed that the facility had previously released all existing weather data to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) for its site assessment in 1999, Boeing recently located additional relevant data. This additional information was located during Boeing's ongoing review of over 1.5 million historical records related to the Santa Susana facility. Site personnel were unaware, until recently, that this additional data existed.
The material in the table below contains currently available meteorological data and information related to the Sodium Reactor Experiment site spanning the years 1952 through 1963. This additional data has been transmitted to the ATSDR.
