Tim Walsh Tours The Great American State Fair

A great day at The Great American State Fair Department of Energy (DOE) Booth! Office of Environmental Management (EM) Assistant Secretary Tim Walsh came to check out the department’s booth on June 26, 2026, where Amie Robinson from EM’s waste disposal office volunteered to captain the booth about DOE’s history and its role in driving future energy innovations. Visitors had an opportunity to meet senior administration officials including the Secretaries of War and Labor, and engage with interactive displays. DOE’s booth highlighted how Americans harnessed the nation’s resources and the power of science to fuel innovation, drive prosperity that built our great nation. This modern-day world’s fair runs from June 25 through July 10 and features 150 exhibits about our country’s people, traditions, innovation, and spirit in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States.
