RICHLAND, Wash. – EM Richland Operations Office contractor Mission Support Alliance’s (MSA) water and sewer utilities organization operates the Hanford Site water treatment facility, which produces up to 450,000 gallons of potable water daily.  To maintain water quality standards, MSA operates and monitors the plant, periodically samples the system’s water quality, and flushes water lines — all to ensure fresh, potable water is available across the site. Due to aging systems, MSA is upgrading major infrastructure systems, including building a new water treatment plant, to service the site for decades to come
