Weatherization Program Partners

Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI) - A third-party organization licensed to deliver the Home Energy Professional (HEP) certifications, such as Energy Auditor, Retrofit Installer, Crew Leader and Quality Control Inspector.

Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) - Accredits clean energy training providers and certifies instructors and master trainers.

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) - Helps keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assistance families with energy costs.

National Association for State Community Service Programs (NASCSP) - Organization charged with advocating and enhancing the leadership role of states in preventing and reducing poverty.

National Community Action Foundation (NCAF) - Represents Community Action Agencies (CAA) and their state and regional associations in Washington, DC.

National Community Action Partnership (CAP) - Organization which provides technical assistance, training, and other resources to Community Action Agencies and nonprofit organizations.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) - Organization which provides technical support for the Weatherization Assistant energy audit software tool, evaluations of the DOE Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and policy research in support of weatherization and low-income programs.

Simonson Managemet Services (SMS) - Management consulting which provide expertise within the weatherization, energy efficiency, and residential building industries.
