The Integrated Energy Systems Office (IESO) is located within the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Critical Minerals and Energy Innovation (CMEI). Bringing solar and wind energy technologies together under one office, IESO is dedicated to advancing a strategic approach to research and developing advanced energy solutions. IESO's work focuses on enhancing grid reliability and resilience, fostering U.S. technological leadership across diverse energy generation sources, and lowering energy costs for Americans.
