On January 27, 2022, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) issued a request for information (RFI) to gather input on industrial priorities for decarbonization, including emerging technologies that could be demonstrated or adopted by the industrial sector.

The goal of the RFI is to help AMO better understand how America’s manufacturing sector can reduce emissions while making technologies that will power the clean economy and increase competitiveness on the global stage.

Response Guidelines:

The deadline to submit your response is February 28, 2022.

Responses to this RFI must be submitted electronically to Industrial-Decarb-RFI@ee.doe.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on February 28, 2022. Responses must be provided as a Microsoft Word (.docx) attachment to the email.

Please identify your answers by responding to a specific question or topic if applicable. Respondents may answer as many or as few questions as they wish.

Respondents are requested to provide the following information at the start of their response to this RFI:

  • Company / institution name;
