EDF staff will be representing the Office at the Geothermal Rising Conference (GRC) 2026 in Houston, Texas. GRC is the geothermal industry’s flagship annual conference, offering technical, policy, and market sessions, educational seminars, tours of geothermal and renewable energy projects, and numerous networking opportunities.

Specifically, EDF Senior Consultant Elizabeth Wolfe will be speaking on a Geothermal Capital & Investment Panel at 8:00 am on Monday, September 21. The panel will discuss how scaling geothermal deployment requires innovative financing, strategic partnerships, and increased investor confidence. This panel will bring together investors, developers, lenders, and industry leaders to discuss the evolving landscape of geothermal finance, including project funding, risk mitigation, emerging investment models, and opportunities across power generation, direct use, and thermal energy networks. Panelists will share insights into what attracts capital, how the investment community evaluates geothermal projects, and the pathways to accelerating growth across the industry.
