Evaluation of Authorization Basis Management Systems and Processes at the Pantex Plant
This report provides the results of a follow-up evaluation of the authorization basis management systems and processes at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Pantex Plant. The evaluation was conducted from March through June 2000 by the Office of Environment, Safety and Health Oversight, within DOE's Office of Environment, Safety and Health, to follow-up on an authorization basis issue identified during a 2006 independent oversight safety management evaluation at the Plant as well as authorization basis process weaknesses identified by the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board.
