Unreviewed Safety Question Process (EA CRAD 34-03, Rev. 0)
This CRAD focuses on the adequacy and implementation of the unreviewed safety question (USQ) process at DOE nuclear facilities that complies with the requirements of 10 CFR 830, Nuclear Safety Management, subpart B § 830.203. The CRAD also addresses the adequacy of the Federal review and approval of contractor USQ procedure in addition to subsequent oversight of the USQ process. The following criteria and lines of inquiry are independent sections to be used in any combination, based on the need of the specific assessment.
