On July 29, 2025, the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Enterprise Assessment’s Office of Enforcement entered into a negotiated settlement by Consent Order with UT-Battelle, LLC (WCO-2025-01), to resolve worker safety and health issues that were identified during an investigation pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 851.40 Investigations and inspections related to a worker injury when struck by a telehandler truss boom attachment at the Translational Research Facility at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
