Promotion of a new report on Long Duration Energy Storage called Achieving the Promise of Low Cost Long Duration Energy Storage.

A U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) center demonstrated its commitment to empowering small businesses at a recent workshop in collaboration with the DOE Office of Environmental Management (EM) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) and a Paducah Site contractor.

DOE’s Office of Technology Transitions created the Visual Intellectual Property Search database, known as VIPS, to make it easier to perform intellectual property searches and find new technologies developed at DOE’s 17 National Laboratories and several additional DOE plants and sites.

Each team was awarded $80,000 for showcasing the performance capabilities and characteristics of their distributed embedded energy converter technology concepts to harness and convert the power of ocean waves into usable types of energy.
