The Office of Environmental Management (EM) has established its key priorities for calendar year 2022, covering planned cleanup, project construction, acquisition and other important accomplishments to advance EM’s environmental and risk-reduction mission

EM leveraged the results of years of successful work in 2021 to launch a new era for DOE’s cleanup mission, all while continuing to manage the challenging conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Workers with EM Richland Operations Office (RL) contractor Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) recently completed final demolition activities at Hanford’s former Plutonium Finishing Plant.
