Teams that competed in the 2015 Build Challenge worked during a two-year period to design and build their houses, with student work culminating October 8 to 18, 2015, at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine, California.
Fourteen finalist teams competed to design, build, and operate the most cost-effective, energy-efficient, and attractive house.
Ultimately, Stevens Institute of Technology emerged victorious. It was the school's third competition.
