On December 23, 2025, Department of Energy (DOE) issued emergency order 202-25-13, pursuant to section 202(c) of the Federal Power Act, to CenterPoint Energy and the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. (MISO). The order directs CenterPoint Energy and MISO to take all measures necessary to ensure that Unit 2 at the F.B. Culley Generating Station in Warrick County, Ind. is available to operate. This order is in effect beginning on December 23, 2025, and continues until March 23, 2026.
