Sonja Thrasher is a Special Assistant at the U.S. Department of Energy
Sonja Thrasher most recently served as a White House Advance Associate supporting official domestic and international visits for the Biden-Harris administration. She previously worked on the Warnock for Georgia campaign, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and the Tom Steyer presidential campaign, in addition to the Center for Global Development.
A California native, Sonja holds a BA in international studies with a minor in conflict resolution and a BA in dance from the University of California, Irvine.
