Sarah Harman is a visual content creator for the Department of Energy's Office of Public Affairs and has 22 years of federal service. Sarah is also the host of the department’s podcast, Direct Current. She collaborates with brilliant DOE scientists and staff to create stunning imagery such as educational products, social media content, infographics, reports, branding and more for various programs and initiatives. Sarah served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps where she operated as a Combat Photographer. She attended the Defense Information School graduating summa cum laude. Sarah is an accomplished equestrian, vocalist, avid boater and former Vice Commodore of the Port of Washington Yacht Club. She also enjoys dominating frisbee competitions with her two border collies.
