The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Solar Electric Power Association for the compiling of data related to community solar business models that can then be shared with the public through electronic and paper materials and informational events.
The proposed activities include online literature searches, phone and face-to-face interviews, data analysis and spreadsheet creation, publication and distribution of study results, hosting of educational events, and advising on study results. The proposed project would be limited exclusively to intellectual, academic, or analytical activities and would use no physical materials beyond basic office supplies and software.
