EIS-0236-S2: Supplemental Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement on Stockpile Stewardship and Management for a Modern Pit Facility

DOE's NNSA began preparation of a Supplement to the Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement on: (1) whether to proceed with a Modern Pit Facility (MPF); and (2) if so, where to locate a MPF. NNSA cancelled the previously planned Supplemental Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement on Stockpile Stewardship and Management for a Modern Pit Facility (DOE/EIS–0236–S2) in 2006 in the NOI for the Supplement to the Stockpile Stewardship and Management Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement—Complex 2030 (Complex 2030 SEIS or SEIS, DOE/EIS–0236–S4).
