On March 20, 2008, the U.S. Department of Energy issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (WEA-2008-01) to Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC for violations of 10 C.F.R. 851 associated with a June 12, 2007, fume hood fire that occurred in building TRA-668 at the Reactor Technology Complex, and a July 14, 2007, electrical shock of two firefighters responding to a wildland fire at DOE's Idaho National Laboratory.
