The High Point VAMPs initiate an intra-Area interlock that shuts down the transfer pump during waste transfers between FTF and HTF. In an effort to minimize nuisance VAMPs interlocks and because redundant VAMPs are not required, the outside High Point VAMP ED-641000-IT-RISH-6097A will be removed from service in accordance with 1Q procedure 12-3, which allows Radiation Monitoring Equipment to be removed from service.
