June 16, 2026The proposed project aims to revolutionize lithium recovery from seawater using innovative multi-responsive micro/nanorobots. The project proposes to develop micro/nanorobots made from Janus core/shell micro/nanoparticles. These robots are designed to be self-propelled under light, magnetic fields, or in the presence of hydrogen peroxide, allowing them to autonomously "swim" through seawater and selectively "eat" lithium ions.
