Director of Management & Operations, Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF)
Maria Sutton is the Director of Management and Operations at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Dominance Financing. Ms. Sutton is a senior federal executive with more than 25 years of experience driving operational management, administrative programs and oversight, and strategic initiatives across multiple U.S. Government organizations. She has advised senior leadership on strategic planning, policy development, financial management, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
She has held key leadership roles within DOE’s Office of Critical Minerals Energy Innovation (formerly Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy), including Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Operations and Director of the Office of Business Services Management. Prior to her time with DOE, she served in senior operational positions at the U.S. Marshals Service and spent nearly two decades at the National Science Foundation.
