Duke Energy's Coal Reliability Assurance (CRA) Initiative is to perform maintenance activities for the boiler, turbine/generator, and balance of plant components. No new construction is envisioned for these projects. These projects involve the following components: steam turbine valves, fan rotors, burners, exciter, high pressure turbine, startup valves, waterwall, reheater, absorber liners, hopper liners, and transformer rectifiers.
