AVEC will upgrade and replace firewalls and communication equipment in at least 18 remote power plants and back-up generators within AVEC’s service area of 58 rural Alaskan communities. In some locations, already implemented hardwares will be relocated and consolidated into a wall-mounted and air-filtered cabinet.
