Battery Grade PVDF Manufacturing Facility; Richmond County, Georgia

The Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) issued a final environmental assessment (EA) for Battery Grade Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) Manufacturing Facility (DOE/EA-2237). The EA assesses the potential environmental and social impacts associated with construction and operations of a proposed facility which would produce cathode battery materials at the factory scale in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia.
