This Amended Determination follows the approval of additional funding, an extended period of performance, a new teaming parter, and new project milestones to support the project team's small-scale research and development activities to continue developing their high-temperature superconducting coated conductor tapes. Specifically, the project team will (1) produce, test, and validate a larger-scale pulsed laser deposition process to meet preliminary production and performance metrics, and (2) optimize and manufacture full-scale test production for 4 weeks to meet final performance metrics.
