The Central Alarm Station (CAS) is important for safe and effective operation of the Bettis Site. The CAS houses servers, computers, and monitoring equipment associated with systems to ensure safe operations. The current location of the CAS does not provide any capacity for Security Operations and Engineering to upgrade and expand the monitoring equipment as the technology advances. The renovation of the new location for CAS will provide a larger space capable of allowing the systems and equipment to be relocated and upgraded in the future.
