The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) plans to complete site preparation for a new pump and treat facility at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP). This action includes preparing the approximately 5 acres site for future construction of a new pump and treat facility. This action will involve clearing approximately 2.5 acres of woody vegetation and 2.5 acres of scrub shrub vegetation. It will also involve tree trimming along the road to the current C-612 Pilot Pump and Treat Facility.
