FY26-30 Geospatial Data Management Strategy

The Department of Energy (DOE) FY26-30 Geospatial Data Management Strategy sets forth a comprehensive approach to maximize the impact of geospatial data across the Department’s core energy, environmental, and national security missions. This strategy builds upon existing progress and aligns with the Geospatial Data Act of 2018 (GDA) and 2025-2035 National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) Strategic Plan. By establishing robust governance, refining lifecycle management, enhancing discoverability, and fostering collaboration, DOE is committed to leveraging geospatial data for greater national energy security, environmental stewardship, and scientific leadership.
