The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) prepared a Mitigation Action Plan (MAP) for Lease of Parcel ED-1 of the Oak Ridge Reservation by the East Tennessee Economic Council (DOE/EA-1113) to mitigate the potential impacts of proposed actions to lease 957.16 acres of DOE land on the Oak Ridge (Tennessee) Reservation (ORR) to the East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC) for the development an industrial park (Parcel ED-1).
This MAP incorporates the recommendations of a DOE peer review of the existing MAP (prepared April 1996). It also contains a summary and quantitative evaluation of monitoring data collected between 1996-2000, and monitoring requirements and mitigation measures for ecological and cultural resources.
