Kenneth Lewis

Kenneth Lewis retired in 2015 as a full-time instructor at Thomas Edison State University, although he continued in a part-time capacity until 2024. His career in education began in 2005, but prior to that he worked in engineering roles, including for BWXT, which contracts with the Department of Energy for some services. Kenneth received a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering and an M.A. in applied mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also received an M.S.E. in nuclear/environmental engineering from Stanford University, an M.S. in physics from Lehigh University and an A.B. in physics from Rutgers College. Kenneth is interested in civic, education, environmental and public health issues. He lives in Oak Ridge.
