The Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office gives notice of receipt of an Application, filed on February 9, 2026, by NAVERGY INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNERS LLC (Navergy), requesting long-term authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) in an amount up to the equivalent of 51.75 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas per year.  Navergy requests authorization to export LNG to (1) any country with which the United States currently has, or in the future may enter into, a free trade agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas (FTA Nations) and (2) any country with which the United States does not have a free trade agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas, that currently has or in the future develops the capacity to import LNG, and with which trade is not prohibited by United States law or policy (Non-FTA Nations).  The authorization is requested through December 31, 2050.  Navergy plans to transport the LNG in approved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) containers loaded onto ocean-going vessels to emerging markets, including but not limited to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.  Navergy requests this authorization on its own behalf and as agent for other parties who hold title to the LNG at the time of export.
