Three commercial fixative products will be tested by ASTM methods to confirm their suitability for D and D work in the DOE complex. ASTM methods will be recommended for use as standard evaluation methods for the DOE in assessing next fixative products for future project work. Experimentation will include the testing of physical properties at three separate institutions (one of which being SRNL) and the comparison of results in a interlaboratory Round Robin.
