Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR), conducted emergency structure replacements on its existing Vernal-Hayden (VNL-HDN) 138-kV Transmission Line, in Moffat County, Colorado. These emergency structure replacements were completed on Structures 62-6, 62-7, 63-2, and 63-3 in August 2025, following damage from a wildland fire. Structure replacement activities included removal of the damaged structures, re-auguring the existing structure holes, installation of the new wood structures, backfilling the structure holes, and installation of new hardware.
