This Categorical Exclusion Determination (CXD) addresses specific activities which can be performed at locations associated with Pantex Plant pertaining to safety, health, and environmental improvements. The types of activities within the scope of this review would be: modifications to an existing structure to enhance workplace habitability, installation of, or improvements to, building and equipment instrumentation, installation of, or improvements to, equipment for personnel safety and health, and safety and environmental improvements to a facility, including replacement and upgrade of facility components, that do not result in a significant change in the expected useful life, design production capacity, or function of the facility, and during which operations may be suspended and then resumed.
