Public Information Session - FY 2026 Projects

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management (OREM) is committed to keeping the public informed about cleanup progress happening on the Oak Ridge Reservation.  OREM is hosting an open house poster session to provide the latest updates about plans and projects slated for fiscal year 2026. 

When:  Thursday, October 16, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. 

Where: Oak Ridge Conference Center – 1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge 37830.

Details: The event will feature posters providing information about our ongoing and upcoming projects, and our top subject matter experts will also be on hand to share updates and answer your questions. The information shared during this event focuses on:

  • Reindustrialization and land transfers at the East Tennessee Technology Park
  • Cleanup progress at Oak Ridge National Laboratory
  • Demolition projects at the Y-12 National Security Complex
  • Next steps for the Environmental Management Disposal Facility
  • Upcoming cleanup projects in fiscal year 2026
