About the Technology
IRODI integrates optical scanning and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) with LANL’s Maestro software to deliver real-time dimensional feedback. The system intelligently plans inspections, identifies potential defects early, provides more comprehensive inspection with improved accuracy, and has the potential to help match parts with optimal fit.
LANL is actively seeking partners to license and help deploy IRODI commercially. For businesses looking to sharpen their competitive edge, licensing lab-developed technologies like IRODI can accelerate innovation while reducing R&D costs.
